Heidi Earnshaw Design is an award-winning studio specializing in the design and production of solid wood furniture and functional objects. The studio strives to create timeless, carefully detailed pieces that enhance their users’ daily rituals and add comfort and beauty to the spaces they inhabit.
18 Waits is a menswear label offering clothing that is well built, from the finest fabrics, with no detail overlooked. 18 Waits is more than a brand or a fashion label — it is a lifestyle, embodying an old world mentality, in which clothing is to be worn until it has been rendered unusable. “Wear well, enjoy, love, destroy,” as their mantra implies.
In short, both companies seek to create products that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Heidi Earnshaw Design, 18 Waits and Gerhard present ‘Dressing Room’ — an immersive installation showcasing Heidi Earnshaw’s latest made-to-order furniture collection alongside a limited edition, collaborative menswear line by Gerhard and 18 Waits. The qualities, values and priorities of both the clothing and the furniture are in sync and one provides the context for the other. “Dressing Room” seeks to remove both furniture and clothing from the abstract showroom environment and to present it in a more contextualized, comfortable manner.
