‘Living Well’ is a signature exhibition curated by the Toronto Design Offsite Festival. This third annual exhibition brings together 12 artists and designers to explore the tangible and intangible ways in which design improves our daily lives.
The exhibition features the work of AFJD (Amber Frid-Jimenez & Joseph Dahmen), Amanda Rataj, Cole Swanson, Jake Whillans, Louie George Michael (Gaëlle Le Couster), Mauricio Navarro, Myung-Sun Kim, Oscar Kwong, Tania Love, and Victoria Milley & Felicia Semiawan, working locally and from abroad.
What is the capacity of design to help us feel or live better? How does it help us achieve higher states of personal health, resource efficiency, conviviality, collaboration, mindfulness, or even happiness? ‘Living Well’ asks about the ways in which design transforms us, or how we use design to transform ourselves for the better.
Funding is generously provided by the Ontario Arts Council and Craft Ontario.
