Craft, Industrial Design
As we enter an increasingly connected world, it becomes more important to consider the relationships we have with our everyday physical objects.
Nthology:01 features a collection of selected work by designer, Nate Asis.
In this exhibition, Nate explores the effects of technology on craft production and industrial design. Using motion tracking digital tools and rapid manufacturing technologies, the objects created represent the maker’s digital hand. The works in this exhibition are an expression of form and materiality.
Nate Asis is an industrial designer. His work is rooted in finding a balance between the magical and the practical, merging experiment with common practice.
