Description

What does it mean to design and make things in Toronto?
How do you make Toronto design more affordable?
What are the challenges in manufacturing in Toronto?

Collaborators Shaun Moore of MADE and Katharine Tessier will lead a discussion with Toronto Made members Coolican & Company, Simon Devost, Eve Likes Green, Guild Eyewear, National Design Collective, and Turn of the Century Lighting. All have created pieces in the PRIMARY collection.

MADE is a design product retailer working to build a valuable resource of modern Canadian design. Handmade works and small production pieces by industrial designers, craftsmen, architects, designers and artists are given equal focus. Custom projects are a specialty.
