MOTO at Domison
MOTO for Montreal–Toronto.

The temporary installation presents the works of cutting edge designers from both cities.  Curated by My & Thien, this temporary exhibition aims to bring the two distant creative platforms closer.

A long history of rivalry between the country’s two largest cities has often polarised many industries. Yet, everyday there are massive exchanges between both of them making one wonder how come the design scene in each city can be so isolated and secluded from each other.  To break this isolation, My & Thien are showing at Domison an exhibition celebrating the design talents of Montreal and Toronto. It’s about creating a dialogue between these two design hubs. In short, let’s introduce Montreal to Toronto and Toronto to Montreal. For the time of the Toronto design week, this offsite installation, staged by Paprika, will be the ground to discover, see and enjoy great design studios from our two cultural capitals.

Showing brand new, unseen or iconic work: 6.1 Designers, Antoine Laverdière, Atelier 001-A, Brothers Dressler, Couper Croiser, Derek McLeod, Dylan McKinnon, Etienne Hotte, Furni, Guillaume Sassville, Katherine Morley, Olivier Desrochers, Rob Southcott, Science and Sons, Tahir Mahmood, The National Design Collective, The Practice of Everyday Design, Trois Quart Fort.
