Latitude 44 & Centennial Fine Arts Studio

GET YOUR HANDS DIRTY.  Music, hot cider, drawing & fun!  Show how the Junction beats the winter blues on a cold, winter evening. Add your drawing creations to a community mural in a hands-on, “studio” experience for the whole family.

Guided by experienced graduate artists and senior students from Centennial’s Fine Arts Studio Program, passers-by will be encouraged to make their mark: portrait, monster, dog, flower, super hero, super villain, home of the future, flying car, or whatever else takes their fancy, in completing a collaborative 20-foot mural. Using large expressive chunks of drawing charcoal on paper, participants will definitely find their inner artist as they truly get their hands dirty. Join in the fun and creative frenzy. Cold hands will be warmed with cups of (non-alcoholic) hot mulled apple cider brewed on-site from a secret family recipe.
