Associates is the third in a line-up of annual exhibitions (Tools, 2011; Heavy Metal, 2010) organized by local architect and designer Joy Charbonneau.
Associates asks 15 designers to create two or more unique objects that have a correlated character. The idea is to create things that are more than copies or sets; instead they allow us to consider the relationships that objects have with each other.
New Design Collections will be launched by: Chromoly, Derek McLeod, Dylan Mckinnon, Dieter Janssen, Emil Teleki, Zoe Mowat, Jimenez Lai, Jessica Nakanishi, Joy Charbonneau, Noam Lamdan, Rob Southcott, The Practice of Everyday Design, Zoë Mowat.
